November 29, 2017 - Departmental Lecture Series on Research (Net-working)-Teaching-Learning in (Applied) Linguistics, Literatures, & New Technologies

Report by Mbangchia Chester, email: mbangchia25@gmail.com, postgraduate student at ENS, University of Yaoundé 1

The Departmental Lecture Series is a regular academic event organised by the department and aims at discussing major research ideas not conventionally done during normal classroom schedules. The 2017 session featured among other things the introduction of Our Mythical Childhood Project, which Professor Nkemleke discussed under the theme: The Linguistic-Literature-Culture Nexus: the Example of Our Mythical Childhood... Project. Participants in the events, who were majority students and staff, including some invitees from outside ENS, learned about the OMC Project and how they can contribute to the Project by writing the Survey entries.
