This online resource contains an interactive map of ancient Greece and an ancient Greece quiz. When you click on one of the sites, an information text appears. If you click on the red words in the text, a new information page opens up. For example, when you click on Troy, you get the Trojan War interactive page.

This page contains a brief explanation on Troy and the Trojan War. There are also 5 other interactive items on this page: The Iliad: upon clicking you get to the “The Iliad” page which contains a brief explanation and a photo of Achilles and Ajax playing dice on a vase. Every part of the illustration is explained: the vase, Achilles, Ajax, spears, game.

The Odyssey: a passage-long explanation of the Odyssey and a vase illustration of Odysseus blinding the cyclops. The information available is on a pointed stick, Cyclops and the vase.

Homer: Homer’s bust, and a brief explanation about the poet.

Ancient Greek Warriors: a photo of a man dressed as an Athenian hoplite. The info page provides a passage-long information on the phalanx and the other information available from the photo is on shields, armour, crest, breastplate, greaves, and helmets.

The Trojan Horse: a passage-long explanation and a statue relief of the horse with the following information: on the relief, horse, hidden army, warriors.
