Contents & Purpose

These exercises accompany the Journey to the Past  text book and offer further activates and practice on ancient Greek culture and religion.

Further comments

The worksheets offer various activities to accompany the textbook’s unit on ancient Greek society and culture. The activities mainly focus on improving linguistic skills and analyzing the texts on ancient Greece which appear on the book. These exercises do not add more information on Greek society but simply offer further linguistic practice for the textbook. The practice includes: reading comprehension questions, closes, syntax analysis (finding the main theme of the paragraphs), explaining the use of connecting words, comparison, word crossword puzzle on the Olympian gods
